As a Dakar virgin, I reckon that I'll discover a whole load of things that the TV pictures never manage to show and it's my hope that you might find some of my ramblings - at least passingly - interesting.
It may help you through a couple of dull minutes and, after all, it's got to be better than working. Right?

Still, I'll persevere, adding words and pictures as I can. Though, fortunately for you, not smells - especially after a few soap-less days in Africa.
